This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for Silent Partner subscriptions. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paddle.com, who acts as the Merchant of Record. This Policy works alongside Paddle's own Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, which can be found at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy. If local consumer protection law gives you stronger rights than this Policy, those rights apply instead.
Unless required by applicable law or stated otherwise in this Policy, all charges are non-refundable. We may issue refunds on a discretionary basis (see Section 6) or where you have a statutory right to one (see Section 3).
Every new user receives a 14-day free trial. No payment is collected during the trial period, so there is nothing to refund if you cancel before the trial ends.
Silent Partner is billed monthly at $29/month after your free trial ends. Subscriptions automatically renew each billing cycle unless cancelled.
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right under applicable law to withdraw from your first payment within 14 days of that transaction and receive a full refund. This right does not generally apply to subsequent renewal payments, except where required by law in your jurisdiction.
Separately from any statutory right, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first paid billing cycle. If you are not satisfied with Silent Partner within 30 days of your first payment, contact us at getsilentpartner@gmail.com and we will review your request.
If Silent Partner fails to function as described due to a verified technical defect, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a replacement or a full refund of the affected charge, regardless of the 30-day window above.
Refund requests made after the 30-day window, or for reasons other than a technical defect (such as no longer needing the Service), are reviewed at our discretion on a case-by-case basis. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. A discretionary refund we grant on one occasion does not obligate us to grant similar refunds in the future.
If a refund is issued, your access to Silent Partner will end. Any business data you have stored in the Service may become inaccessible. We recommend exporting any data you wish to keep before requesting a refund.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current billing period — your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
All payments and refunds are processed through Paddle.com. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Paddle, typically within 3–5 business days for card payments.
We encourage you to contact us before raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer — this is usually faster than the chargeback process. If you raise a chargeback we reasonably believe is fraudulent or without merit, we (or Paddle on our behalf) may suspend your access while the matter is investigated, and restrict access permanently if the investigation confirms abuse.
We do not issue refunds for:
